This image is of Julius Caesar guiding his army through the River Rubicon. Julius' choice to do so led to a big war and many people in Rome dying. The quote "The Die is Cast" explains Julius' situation because it means once you make a decision you can never take it back. Once Julius Caesar decided whether to cross the river with his army, go back alone, or go somewhere else he could never take back either starting a war and many people dying or losing all of his power.
This picture shows Caesar being stabbed to death by the senate.
- The Ides of March is the event were Julius Caesar was stabbed to death by the senate because they thought he was gaining to much power and would continue to gain more if they didn't kill him, which resulted in them using Brutus( A friend Julius trusted) to lure him to the senate so they were able to kill Caesar.
- The senate and Caesar were always struggling in a bunch of feuds between each other mostly about how Caesar had to much power, gave to much to the lower class members, and bribery
- The killing of Julius caused Rome citizens to become extremely mad leading to a very chaotic Rome with no living leader.
In my opinion, Julius Caesar was guilty and deserved to be assassinated for many reasons. I do not think the Senate killed Caesar I think they killed him because he was getting to much power, he even considered himself a dictator. I think the senate killed Caesar to protect Rome from a harsh ruling by Caesar who they thought would lead Rome to destruction. I do think Caesar knew he would be killed by the Senate on March 15 because he got many warnings not to go but he still went because I think he wanted to remembered with all the fame and power he had at the time of his death.Julius Caesar was guilty in my opinion.
